            Delegates Shott and Lane move to amend the Committee Substitute on page twenty-four, section ten, line thirteen, after the word “provide,” by striking out the words “as required by the secretary”.

            And,

            At page twenty-four, section ten, line seventeen, after the stricken language by striking out the words “and subject to the protections afforded in section fourteen of this article, notice to the applicable public water system” and substituting in lieu thereof the following “ notice directly to the public water system”.

            And,

            At page twenty-four, section ten, line 21, after the word “storage.” by adding the following language: “Subject to the protections afforded in section fourteen of this article, the information required in this subsection shall be delivered to the specific public water system and to state, county and municipal emergency response organizations that are designated by the Secretary to receive required notice.”

            And,

            At page twenty-eight, section fourteen, line nineteen, after the word “than” by striking out the words “ $5,000 or confined in a correctional facility for not more than one year, or both” and substituting in lieu thereof the following: “ $1,000 or confined in a regional jail facility for not more than twenty days, or both.”

            And,

            At page thirty, section fifteen, line eighteen, after the word “every” by striking out the word “five” and substituting in lieu thereof the word “ three”.
